Is it easy to get to the ski lifts from the chalet?

In a word - yes!  We offer a mini-bus service to our guests 6 days a week where we drop you off and collect you from the main lift area (Pré la Joux) at the start and end of each day.  Alternatively the Super Châtel télécabine is only 250 metres walk away through the village.  Also the stop for the free ski bus is situated approximately 50 metres from chalet 'Les Erines' up a short flight of steps. This bus stops at Le Linga and Pré la Joux télécabines in the Châtel ski area.

What is there to do in Châtel if I don’t want to ski/board?

There is plenty to do in Châtel with its 2 cinemas, bowling, ice-skating, a great variety of bars and restaurants, walking and snow-shoeing paths - to name but a few alternative activities.

Is Châtel suitable for families with children?

Châtel is a great holiday destination for families with children.  For further details, please visit the Families section of our website.

Can you pick us up/drop us off at Geneva airport?

Yes, this included in the cost of your holiday.

Is there any parking at the chalet if we want to drive?

We do have outside parking facilities at the chalet.  Alternatively during the winter you may want to make use of the covered car park in the village centre for a small fee.  The car park is a 5 minute walk from the chalet.

Are there any laundry facilities at the chalet?

No, but there is a launderette in the village about 2 minutes walk from the chalet.

What currency should I bring with me?

Although you'll be skiing across borders into France and Switzerland all the mountain restaurants accept Euros as well as Swiss Francs.

Do you have directions if we're driving to the chalet?

Yes.  Please ask and we can send these to you.
